About the Role

  • Develop and implement instructional objectives, activities, and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement standardized curriculum and testing/assessment designs
  • Provide individualized instruction, tutoring, and counseling to support student success
  • Create a supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Evaluate student progress, identify areas of strength and weakness, and adapt instruction to meet individual needs

Requirements

  • Current MN teaching license in math for grades 5-12, 7-12, or 9-12
  • Strong knowledge of instructional methods, curriculum design, and learning theory
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and social perceptiveness skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
