Instructional Support Associate, Mathematics

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instructional Support Associate, Mathematics to provide exceptional support to our students. As a key member of our Academic Support Programs (ASP) team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the daily operations of our discipline-specific center, ensuring seamless workflow and delivering top-notch academic support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group tutoring to students in mathematics, promoting academic success and excellence
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, fostering a culture of academic integrity and respect
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement innovative academic support strategies, enhancing student outcomes and retention
• Travel to various campuses and locations for college business, promoting our programs and services to students, faculty, and staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field, with tutorial/teaching experience in an educational setting
• Alternatively, an Associate's degree with two years of related professional work experience or an AA with a College Reading Learning Association or Association of Coaching and Tutoring Profession associate tutor certification
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
