Health Fitness Professional - Empowering Lives in Indianapolis, IN

In this exciting role, you will:

• Coordinate, implement, and deliver health and fitness programs, services, and promotions to maximize participation and customer satisfaction
• Provide outstanding service to members and program participants, ensuring a safe and effective exercise experience
• Supervise facility operations, interact with participants, and monitor equipment and participant safety
• Design and lead group exercise instruction, personal training, and health education seminars/presentations
• Conduct fitness testing and assessments, and create individualized programs to meet participants' interests, abilities, and goals
• Develop and maintain marketing materials, including bulletin boards, newsletters, and social media content
• Participate in membership drives, outreach activities, and program promotions to increase participation and engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related discipline, and some fitness industry experience
• OR 3+ years of related fitness industry experience, along with industry-recognized fitness certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider
• Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days
• Industry-recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT, or NETA required within 60 days
• Personal Training certification from an industry-recognized and HealthFitness approved provider required within 120 days
