Food Services Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Services Assistant Manager to join our team in Mississippi. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food services program, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory, order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies, and oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Stock and rotate food supplies and non-food products, and practice personal hygiene and proper sanitation procedures.
• Handle cash, make deposits, and assist in menu planning, ordering, and basic P&L responsibilities.
• Prepare and serve food, handle cashiering responsibilities, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in formal and informal training, and demonstrate knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Exhibit courtesy and understanding to staff and customers, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with duties such as taking inventory, checking in trucks, and food/supplies breakouts.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Pass a criminal background check and a drug screening.
• Physically fit and able to stand for 7 continuous hours.
• Preferred skills: ability to stay on task, reliability, strong work ethic, and experience in food service or fast food business.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in temperatures as low as zero degrees.
