Part-Time ELL Tutor - Remote in Connecticut - Immediate Start
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time ELL Tutor to join our team at Workwarp, supporting students in grades K-4 in Farmington Public Schools. As an ELL Tutor, you will provide targeted instruction and reinforcement to English Language Learners, helping them to achieve academic success. - Provide individualized and small group instruction to ELL students in grades K-4, under the supervision of a classroom or special education teacher.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of ELL students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Participate in child study teams, parent conferences, and other meetings as required.
- Prepare summary reports of student contacts and progress as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
- Prior experience working with ELL learners preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a remote setting with occasional in-person meetings.
