Job Title: French Part-Time Lecturer Pool - Immediate Openings Available

Job Description:

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced French language instructors to join our team of part-time lecturers at California State University, Fullerton. As a part-time lecturer in our Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses in French language, culture, literature, linguistics, and film to a diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in French language, culture, literature, linguistics, and film
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and success
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the French program

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in French or a related field for lower-division courses
• Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in French or a related field for 300-level courses
• Ph.D. in French or a related field for 400-level courses
• Native-like fluency in French
• Ability to interact and work effectively with a diverse student body

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
• Experience working with diverse populations and fostering an inclusive learning environment
• Relevant work experience and professional capabilities
