Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, with experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools. This is a full-time, remote position, with a competitive salary of $27/hour.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

• Executing existing reporting and analytical tasks (30%)
• Using data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests (20%)
• Ensuring the quality of work output by demonstrating a high level of attention to detail (20%)
• Developing additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
• Presenting findings in easily understandable ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan (10%)

Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports

This position reports to a Supervisor and has no immediate reports.

Travel Requirements

This position requires occasional travel under 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements

This position is spent mostly sitting in a comfortable position, with continuous opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.

Working Conditions

This position is located in a comfortable indoor area, with rare and non-offensive situations.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics

• 2 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, evaluation, and estimation
• Previous experience working with data visualization tools, such as SQL Server, Teradata, or similar data set frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field

• Experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
• Certification in data science or analytics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
