Freelance Motion and Graphic Designer

We are currently looking to expand our team with a junior to mid-level designer who shares our passion to change the healthcare system, lives for results, is eager to build something impactful, and is excited to have high levels of ownership, accountability, and tenacity to become experts in their domain. As a Freelance Motion & Graphic Designer at Wisp, your job is to produce best-in-class graphic and motion assets. Your work will unite with a cohesive brand identity that celebrates health and wellbeing by helping folks understand the range of online healthcare choices now available. This position is a 1099 independent contractor role

What You'll Do

• Design eye-catching layouts for paid and organic social media and email, and collaborate with our in-house Marketing and Brand teams to bring our brand and message to life
• Create motion graphics and edit videos to help enhance Wisp's brand on a variety of platforms
• Take direction from the Creative Director and Senior Designer to execute on brand initiatives while working closely with channel partners
• Maintain and help evolve Wisp brand guidelines and processes, adhering to, and continually challenging the us to expand the brand in thoughtful ways
• Work remotely via Slack and Asana to promote efficiency and respond to feedback in a timely fashion

This Role Could Be A Good Fit For You If…

• You have 1-3 years of working as part of design teams at creative agencies or in-house (internships count!) and have done projects in relevant verticals to Wisp such as D2C, health, wellness, cosmetics, supplements, etc.
• You have a portfolio that accurately showcases your design abilities (and includes motion graphics), your role, as well as your creativity, and attention to quality and detail. Big plus if you have illustration experience.
• You’re proficient in After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• You’re able to effectively assess priorities and work well under deadlines.
• You possess strong production skills; you can take direction while collaborating with a wide variety of team members.
• You’re an exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing.
• You have tremendous attention to detail.
• You holistically evaluate the scope of each project and know how to present and explain the design methodology behind your ideas.
