Job Purpose: As a Part-time Remote Interviewer/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting the Telemed team by ensuring all incoming work is assigned and completed within the same day. Your daily duties may include, but are not limited to:

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming telephones for Telemed Interviews, field offices, agents, brokers, applicants, and clients
  • Handling complaints as needed and demonstrating a basic understanding of the paramedical process
  • Acting as a mentor for teammates, providing training, and assisting with special projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interviews: Obtain health history and personal information from clients applying for insurance
  • Customer Service: Promote professionalism and adhere to confidentiality agreements, supporting the mission statement to develop, enhance, and promote quality customer service through team efforts
  • Training & Development: Attend and participate in development programs, maintain certification where applicable, and continue to improve skills
  • Professional Image: Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times while representing arenaflex
  • Goals & Objectives: Set goals and objectives for professional growth, review and revise these on an ongoing basis, and give input and support management/practice decisions

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good organizational skills, effective communication skills, and critical thinking
  • The ability to work compatibly as a team member with co-workers
  • The ability to logically think and determine the next step to pursue

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time remote position, requiring 25-29 hours per week. You will need to be able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 lbs, and utilize a computer, monitor, and keyboard for assigned shifts.

Remote Requirements:

To ensure a seamless remote work experience, you will need:
  • A desktop or laptop computer with Windows 10 or newer (no Chromebooks, iPads, or tablets)
  • A second monitor (prior to starting this position, if hired)
  • High-speed internet capable of being wired (cannot use Wi-Fi for this position)
  • A headset
  • An office or quiet place in your home to work
