About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service & Payment Collection Representative, you will be responsible for making outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to assist customers with payment collections and provide knowledgeable answers to their queries. You will work closely with your managers to receive feedback and coaching, and utilize scripted customer feedback to ensure that you are always prepared to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Make outbound (and some inbound) phone calls to customers to assist with payment collections and provide excellent customer service - Keep in touch with managers to receive feedback and coaching on performance - Provide customers with knowledgeable answers to their queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives - Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to ensure accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries - Utilize technology and tools to efficiently manage customer interactions and data - Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment - Access to a quiet and dedicated workspace at home with reliable internet connection - GED or High School Diploma - Ability to type quickly and accurately on a standard keyboard - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications

Essential Qualifications

- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a remote or call center environment - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of customer service experience in a remote or call center environment - Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field - Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools - Certification in customer service or a related field - Bilingual or multilingual skills
