Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the execution of less experienced Customer Service Agents, including new or upgraded services and procedural changes, and ensuring the overall effectiveness of the team
  • Providing input and presenting plans to improve or implement processes and tools with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Performing complex customer service tasks, including handling incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and chats
  • Providing topic expertise and translation of procedures to less experienced Customer Service Agents and offering guidance to meet defined efficiency and performance objectives
  • Collaborating with the team and communicating with various departments
  • Suggesting areas for improvement and contributing to the development of new processes and procedures
  • Interacting with internal and external customers, including resolving customer complaints and concerns
  • Utilizing various systems to research and resolve issues with customer addresses on statements
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on customer interactions and issues

Required Capabilities:

* 4+ years of customer service, financial services, or contact center experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education

  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and resolving customer complaints
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Successful organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Microsoft Access skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and use search tools to find information

Preferred Capabilities:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or customer service

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with financial services and products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
